ICN2 devotes its research to the behaviour of matter at the nanoscale. It creates basic knowledge and develops devices in areas such as Health, Energy and Information and Communications Technologies. This frontier research has enormous potential to change everyday life. With over 200 members, ICN2 promotes multidisciplinary R&D and collaboration among scientists from diverse backgrounds, industry and society. ICN2 is a founding member of the Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology (BIST).
